No beef today! We have recently focused on a lot of burger joints so we thought it was time to branch out, and branch out we did. What could be further from a burger joint than a vegan restaurant? Before you cringe at the thought of going vegan, open up your eyes as well as your mind. As they say, different is good.
Maybe you are just in the mood for experimenting. Maybe you just saw Food Inc. and are scared meatless. Don’t worry, using local fare prepared in an elegant setting, this spot will even appeal to your beer drinking uncle from Pittsburgh. No cold wheat grass juice here. Their menu ranges from nachos to Thai and black bean burgers to ravioli. It’s starting to sound pretty good.
Vegan doesn’t have to be a bad word, especially when it is prepared deliciously by the chefs at Candle 79. If you are feeling brave, or want to impress your girl, check out Candle 79.
