16. The Frick Collection


The Frick Collection is held in what was once the New York residence of Henry Clay Frick.  Frick was a wealthy industrialist that donated his home and art to New York when he died in 1919.

The Frick Collection houses over 1000 pieces of art from the Renaissance period, most of which was in possession of Frick when he died.  There have also been donations to the Frick collection in addition to what he originally owned.

Admission – Not for the Kiddos

Adults - $18
Seniors - $12
Students with a valid ID can get in for $5, so this is a great way for the broke college student to spend a day.

Admission is only granted to those who are over the age of 10.
