15. Shake Shack at Madison Square Park

The sun is out, and it is a great day for a burger, fries, and maybe a shake.  Just be careful, you may become addicted.  This is the story for the many customers that wait in line to get their hands on a double Shack Burger, only to wonder how they will fit such a thing in their mouths.

Even though the Shake Shack in Madison Square Park only opened six years ago, it has already attracted a huge following.  Let’s just say that there is a wait, but the wait is well worth it.  This is especially true on sunny days.  Thankfully, the Shake Shack has multiple locations to help reduce the lines, though nothing beats eating a burger fresh of the grill in Madison Square Park.

Locations and Hours:

Madison Square Park

This location can be found on the southeast corner of Madison Square Park, near Madison Ave. and East 23^rd St.

Hours:

11:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Upper West Side

366 Columbus Ave. (at 77^th St.)

Hours:

10:45 AM to 11:00 PM

Shake Shack also has a location at Citi Field.  It opens about two hours before game time.
