The Blind Tiger Ale House, located on 281 Bleeker Street, serves beer. They serve a lot of beer. With 28 different brews on tap, it can be a daunting decision to pick just one.
The Blind Tiger has spent the entirety of their existence finding the rarest and tastiest beers. To the owners, beer isn’t a beverage, it’s an art form. Like an artist, a great brewer puts blood, sweat, love, and tears into their creation. Not literally, of course. That would be disgusting.
Oh, and don't worry. If you aren't a beer drinker, they offer a selection of wine as well.
The Blind Tiger was named after a practice used in the 1800s to be able to serve beer during an era that restricted the sale of alcohol.
The bar also features events to showcase their brewers. Just recently on March 10th, they had “An evening with Carol Stouts”. This event featured a selection of beers from the Stoudts collection.
